The French Livestock Institute is the national technical reference in livestock farming systems in France. Its activities encompass applied research, technical assistance and technology transfer in cattle, sheep, goats and horses husbandry sciences. The French Livestock Institute is also an active partner in development business and experience sharing. It is currently involved in numerous programs in South America, North Africa, Middle East, Russia and South-East Asia.

We are continuously looking for external consultants with qualifications and expertise within the following areas:

• Rural development/Livestock Project design and management
• Livestock technical management
• Dairy and meat product technology and quality
• Hides and skin product technology and quality
• Information and Traceability systems
• Breeding and selection, development of genetic resources
• Food safety
• Food security
• Animal welfare
• Animal feeding, pasture systems
• Livestock extension services organization
• Livestock and rural economy and sociology
• Animal health
• Drought power

We are therefore encouraging both international and national consultants, who are available for international assignments and with at least seven (7) years’ proven experience in your area of expertise within international programs, to post us their updated Curriculum Vitae (WB and/or EU formats in English and French and any other major languages) along with a motivation letter by email and references.
